Register Now: ecoAmerica/CRED Webinar on New Climate Communication Guide
The Center for Research on Environmental Decisions (CRED) and ecoAmerica invite you to join us for a free webinar about our new climate communication guide, Connecting on Climate: A Guide to Effective Climate Change Communication. The webinar will be held on Thursday, Dec. 11 from 3:30 – 4:45 pm ET.
The guide explains how anyone, from religious leaders, to healthcare professionals, businesspeople, community leaders, journalists, scientists, educators, policymakers, and other interested parties, can better communicate with and engage the American public on the issue.
The guide is designed as a follow-up to CRED’s 2009 guide The Psychology of Climate Change Communication, and draws from a range of social science fields including psychology, anthropology, communications, and behavioral economics. In this webinar, CRED and ecoAmerica will present an overview of the guide, followed by Q&A.
Space is limited – register now to reserve your spot.
The guide will be available for download on Dec. 11. Sign up here to be notified when it is released.
Help us spread the word! This webinar is free and open to the public – please send this post via email or social media on to colleagues and friends who might be interested in learning about best practices for communicating about climate change.
