Audubon & ConservAmerica Press For Political Agreement On Conservation

The National Audubon Society and the green GOP group ConservAmerica are teaming up to create the American Eagle Compact, a campaign to press for bipartisan agreements on conservation and energy issues. “The spin-obsessed suits in Congress and in statehouses across the country have turned conservation from the great unifier that it once was into a wedge used to divide Americans,” Audubon CEO David Yarnold writes on the group’s website, which also features a pledge calling for “common sense conservation action” because conservation doesn’t have a party.
