A special announcement by ecoAmerica
Today we are proud to announce the launch of ecoAmerica’s new blog, ecoAffect.org. The blog is more than just a new name and design. It is a reaffirmation of our philosophy, a redoubled effort to fulfill our mission to “start with people” on our collective journey up the path of success for the healthy future of people and the planet.
Since 2006 ecoAmerica’s blog has shared the latest trends, research, marketing best practices and commentary for professionals who want to change the culture on climate. In the past 5 years, we have seen incredible changes in the eco-climate movement, ranging from the growing awareness of climate as an issue, to an increase in the political, cultural and economic divide on solutions, to a powerful opposition with deep pockets and marketing prowess effective in deterring public support, to social science that has the potential to help us leap beyond the antagonists and catalyze our success.
We are now seeing an exciting shift happening in the movement, one that embraces the need to authentically engage the hearts and minds of Americans on eco-climate solutions. In our mission to “start with people,” and inspire the movement to do the same, we have redesigned, rebranded, and re-launched the ecoAmerica blog, to provide a better platform and even more fodder to empower eco-climate professionals to affect the way Americans think about and support solutions for the air we breathe, water we drink, land on which we thrive, and atmosphere on which all living things on earth depend.
ecoAffect.org provides even greater access to insights than before, including an increase in curated presentation of the latest research, trends, marketing best practices, and original thought leadership posts from leading behavior change and communications practitioners in the eco-climate movement. And, with its new design and streamlined content navigation, readers can more quickly and easily find these ideas and information. The top navigation provides easy access to the latest research, trends, best practices in cause marketing and corporate marketing, ecoAmerica news, and commentary from leading experts in the movement. The sidebar offers quick access to our most popular and recent posts, the latest commentary, and search by tag words (the most popular themes).
The result is a one-stop destination for innovation in engaging Americans on our environment and climate — connecting with and affecting their thinking, behavior, culture, and ultimately, support for solutions.
We invite you to follow our daily updates by email, Facebook, or Twitter, or bookmarking the blog. If you like what we have to offer, we encourage you to share it with others who care about the future of people and the planet. If you have ideas on how to further the offering or reach of ecoAffect.org, we welcome your contacting us.
